- What is FluentSpheres?
- FluentSpheres is an online language school offering live one-to-one lessons with vetted human teachers, from CEFR A1 to C2, in 30, 45 or 60 minute classes booked in your own timezone.
- Which languages can I learn?
- German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Russian and Arabic, with more available on request.
- How much does a lesson cost?
- Lessons are paid with credits. You can buy a single class or a discounted package, and prices are shown before checkout — no subscription required. You can pay by card through Stripe or with PayPal.
- Can I try before committing?
- Yes. Each new student–teacher pairing can book one trial lesson so you can see whether the teacher is a good fit. Trial lessons cannot be booked as recurring classes.
- What if I can't make a lesson?
- There are no cancellations at FluentSpheres — lessons are always rescheduled instead. You can reschedule yourself any time up to 24 hours before the lesson. In an emergency closer to the start time, message your teacher and they will reschedule it manually for you.
- Do I need special software?
- No. Everything — video, whiteboard, chat, homework — runs in your browser on desktop, tablet or phone.
- How is AI used in the lessons?
- AI writes lesson recaps, generates homework from what you covered, corrects it with feedback, and runs vocabulary quizzes and progress tracking. A human teacher always leads the lesson and reviews the material.
